Adoption Process

On this page you will find details about how to adopt a Siberian Kitten from us.

Kitten Waiting List

When we have a litter planned or a confirmed pregnancy we will advertise details of the litter's parents on our Kittens page. At this stage you can join out waitlist for the kittens. Our waitlist fills up quickly so make sure you get in touch so you don't miss out!

We don't charge to be added to the waitlist. As we are a small breeder and only have two litters per year, we cannot guarantee that everyone on the waitlist will get a kitten in the next litter. We can't control the size of our litters so we can't make any commitments until after the kittens are born.

If you would like to join our waitlist, please email us and tell us:

  • How many kittens you want to adopt
  • If you have any colour/sex requirements
  • If you are flexible on these requirements
  • If you will want to take your kitten to cat shows
  • If you or your family members have cat allergies
  • If you do have allergies, please also tell us what you would do if you adopted a kitten and then developed allergies as the kitten grew up.
  • Do you have previous experience caring for a cat or other pet?
  • Do you have other pets in your household?
  • Would you keep the kitten should you have a change in circumstance i.e. have children, move overseas etc?
  • Are any family members at home during the day? If not, you should consider adopting 2 kittens for company.
  • Do you have children and if so, what are their ages?
  • What sort of home environment could you provide the kitten with?
  • Would the kitten have some access to the outdoors?
  • A little bit about yourself
  • A phone number we can contact you on

Reserving a Kitten

A few weeks after the litter arrives we will get in touch with people on the waitlist to have a chat. We like to talk to you so that we know our kittens are going to the best homes possible. If at this stage you want to reserve a kitten you will be asked to pay a non-refundable deposit of £150. This will reserve the kitten of your choice.

Kitten Contract

Before accepting your deposit, you will be asked to sign a kitten contract. This contract includes clauses about the following:

  • Your commitment to provide a loving home for the kitten
  • Your commitment to provide good veterinary care for your kitten
  • A spay/neuter agreement
  • Your commitment to contact us if you can no longer care for the kitten
  • Payment details

Price

Please contact us for details of kitten prices. Please note that as we are located in central London and our costs are high, our price may be higher than some other breeders.

Payment

A deposit is required to secure the kitten of your choice. The final balance becomes due when you collect the kitten at 12 to 13 weeks if you pay cash. If you prefer to pay by cheque or bank transfer, the payment must be cleared a week prior to collection..
